City of Omaha Public Safety Training Facility

The Training Needs Assessment developed by Interact Business Group represented the research, evaluation and recommendation for the most efficient course of action regarding the need and operation of a combined training facility for the Omaha Police and Fire Departments. IBG examined the various requirements of the individual departments, assessing current and future needs related to training personnel, facilities and equipment. First the requirements for each department were determined. Then, considering commonalties and potential combined efficiencies of the departments, the benefits of a co-located Omaha Police and Fire Department training facility were explored.
